Jérôme Courbat is an accordion virtuoso – in 2017, at only 19, he became world champion in the amateur variety category, a title he won at the World Accordion Championships. The young musician also teaches accordion and directs several Jura ensembles. He has always had a strong attachment to his home canton saying, ‘I’ve often played repertoire from the Jura region.’
